Enormous new Manchester hotel close to opening
An enormous new hotel is set to open in Manchester very soon, and it will be among the largest of its type in the whole of Europe.
This hotel will be part of the Hampton by Hilton chain and will be located in the heart of the city. The chosen spot is over a pub called The Deansgate, which will give guests views of the Castlefield Viaduct. Hilton has hotels of this type in numerous other European cities, including Frankfurt, Warsaw and Berlin, but the Manchester venue will be bigger than all of them.
It will be 22 storeys in height and will have a total of 358 rooms. Other amenities that will be available inside the hotel are an all-day restaurant and a bar. There will also be an events and meeting space for conferences and private parties, plus a fitness centre.
The Hampton by Hilton Manchester City Centre is one of two large hotels that the company is launching within the city. The other one is scheduled to open next year, and Hilton has stated that it shows how in demand Manchester is now.
The hotel’s general manager is Abi Hindle. Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, she said:
“We’re certain that the new Hampton by Hilton Manchester City Centre will be a great addition to the city’s already flourishing hospitality landscape, becoming a popular destination for tourists, business travellers and families alike.”
The hotel will open in late April.
