Building firm finishes work on Christmas Markets in Manchester
The construction company that was contracted to build the Christmas Markets in Manchester has now finished the job, which will enable the celebrations to get underway.
Warden Construction is the firm that was hired for the task, marking the second year in a row that this Preston company has built the markets. The firm was hired by North West Construction Hub and Manchester City Council, with the result being that the work was completed according to the time schedule.
The managing director of the company, Ian Williams, told the Lancashire Post that the firm was thrilled to have been selected once again for such a prestigious building project.
He then went on to add that:
“Our team worked hard to ensure that each site across the city was prepared safely and efficiently, so visitors can enjoy the festive experience without a hitch. It’s a privilege to be part of such a beloved event in Manchester.”
Among the tasks that Warden Construction carried out were putting up the many stalls and setting up Heras fencing. This is designed to enable materials and goods to be delivered to the market sites as easily as possible.
The Christmas Markets have become a popular feature of the festive season in Manchester over the years. This year, they are scheduled to remain in place until the 22 December.
